Hook Em’ / Cook Em’:

We think the title explains this charter but please read on: Whether you are a budding Rick Stein or simply a lover of fresh sea food this is definitely the charter for you.

Your day starts with tea, coffee and bacon rolls at the Haven Bar in Lymington where you will meet the crew and have an informal chat about the day ahead.

On to the boat where a safety briefing takes place and the crew outline the methods and tackle you will use during the day.

The trip will start off with us fishing for Mackerel. These will be our main bait for the day ahead.

Our next target will be hard fighting Black Bream and the most sought after of British sea fishes the Bass, taking in the stunning scenery of the Needles lighthouse and Tennyson Down along the way.

Next a buffet lunch aboard or a quick stop on the Isle of Wight to visit the famous Salty’s seafood bar and it’s off to check our lobster / crab pots and cuttle fish traps, returning to The Haven around 4pm for the grand finale.

You will be met from the boat with your catch by a professional chef and his helpers. After a glass of Pimms or a pint to discuss ‘the ones that got away’ you will then be given a cookery master class, from preparation to plate, boiling times to superb wines, all of your catch is included in the feast you are about to enjoy.
